What makes this a great photo?
What went wrong with the photo?

  1. It catches all the detail of the players while in movement, but it also does not give a good explanation of what the players are actually doing.

  2. It captures the action of two different people. What went wrong was that the photographer took the picture when neither of the players had the ball.

  3. What's great about this photo is that it shows action and it isn't blurry. The problem is that the girl in the red is facing a direction where we can't see her face and the photo was taken a couple seconds after the person headed or did something to the soccer ball so we're not really sure what's happening in the photo.

  4. It catches the players' details, but we cannot figure out who is the subject.

    1. the players and ball are both in focus and filling the frame, as will as this picture captures the moment well.
    2. they both missed the ball

  6. It is focused on the players and you don't get distracted by the crowd or anything else. The players are facing different ways and neither of them have the ball so it looks like they're confused about how to play soccer.

  7. They did a good job excluding the crowd and the commercials. Just getting the action. It went wrong when they took the picture at the wrong time and it looks awkward. They are also facing different ways which make it look more weird. Rachel

  8. The fact that its zoomed in on the players is good. It wouldn't be good is the focus was on the entire soccer field. What went wrong is the players are both facing away from the ball so we don't really know who the subject is.

  9. the fact that they got a focused picture of the players is good but there isn't a subject. Both of the girls are doing something so your eye doesn't know where to look. tia
